Leeds General Infirmary is the designated Major Trauma Centre for adults across West Yorkshire. It provides the highest level of specialist care for patients with the most serious and complex injuries. The adult information leaflet explains what happens when you arrive, the treatment and surgery you may need, and the specialist teams who will support your recovery both in hospital and after discharge. |
CHILDRENS SERVICES
Leeds Children’s Hospital, based at Leeds General Infirmary, is the Major Trauma Centre for children and young people in West Yorkshire. It brings together a wide range of children’s specialists who provide emergency care, surgery, and rehabilitation for serious injuries. The paediatric leaflet guides families through what to expect when a child is admitted, including the support available for both patients and parents/carers during their stay and recovery.
