Boundaries of the WYMTN

adult.jpgThese 2 maps demonstrate the boundaries of the WYMTN. YAS use these to determine whether or not a patient meeting the trauma tool criteria should be brought to the LGI MTC. Note that because Hull is not a paediatric MTC the boundary for children is slightly wider. Note also that once in a hospital these boundaries don't apply - e.g. an adult trauma patient already in York District Hospital would be secondarily transferred to Hull MTC if MTC care was needed, but a patient suffering trauma in the city of York would bypass YDH and be brought to the LGI MTC if they meet the trauma tool criteria.

Non WYMTN / YAS / LTHT resources should not be used for any decisions in relation to patient pathways.
